22nd of August
Let’s visit one of the best natural pools in Valencian Community – Pozo Negro, and hike in its surroundings, enjoying the views of the valley in this precious corner of Sierra Espadán.
We’ll meet in Valencia, in front of Mestalla stadium (the parking lot on av. Aragón) and drive to Fuentes de Ayodar. Once there, we’ll have a coffee on a terrace and start the hike.
This time we’re going to do an easy version starting from Fuentes de Ayodar. Most of the itinerary goes along gravel roads, with a couple of short single track trails. Will pass by Fuente del Zuro, which is located right next to Pozo Negro. There we will make a stop to have lunch and bathe in the cool water of this natural pool. After that a short walk will take us back to the village. We’ll have a drink on a terrace and return to Valencia.
