A scenic hike through the fresh mountains of Bejís. The Resinero ravine trail goes along a cute mountain stream, which forms various beautiful pools along the way.
We’ll meet in Valencia, in front of Mestalla stadium (the parking lot on av. Aragón) and drive to Bejís. Once there, we’ll have a coffee on a terrace and start the hike.
The hike starts from the area of Los Cloticos spring. First we’ll take a trail that will lead us up and around the ravine. Then we’ll hike down and make our way back along the Resinero ravine – the most scenic part of the route. At the end of that we will find a charming tiny village of el Molinar. There is a small pool here, so we will make a stop to have lunch and dip into fresh mountain water. Finally, we will have a drink on a terrace after the hike and return to Valencia.
In the municipal area of El Toro, Castellón, there is a small village nestled in the middle of nature, where time seems to have stopped: El Molinar. This corner has a very special charm, especially when there is water in the nearby pools, Barranco del Hocino or the Palancia River, which the latter crosses, on the right bank, the houses and a small bridge that spans the course of the river, suitable for human passage.
As soon as we arrive at El Molinar, a travertine rock welcomes us on the left side, formed by the precipitation of calcareous water over thousands of years. The houses, mostly made of dry stone masonry, make up a beautiful landscape that will make visitors enjoy.
