The Júcar Canyons

18th of December

The Júcar river canyons will surely impress any hiker who ventures into the interior of the province of Valencia. You would never imagine that just over an hour from the city, you can come across a landscape that can make anyone dizzy.

We will meet in Valencia, in front of Mestalla stadium and go to Jalance with a 9-seater minibus. We will stop in the village to have a coffee on the terrace and then drive some 5 more minutes to reach the beginning of the route. The route is linear and always goes along the canyon, with the views getting more and more impressive with each step. When we get to the point where we have to turn around, we will stop to have lunch. After the hike we will stop in Jalance again to have a drink on the terrace and then return to Valencia.
