Warm times are here already, which means it’s time for the classic route – the ascent to Penyagolosa, the most famous mountain in the Community. We will also do the Lucena Watermill Route, which is on our way. This is a weekend trip and we’ll spend a night in Vistabella del Maestrazgo, in a rural house.
At the beginning of July we will go to the Pyrenees to spend 5 days walking around the Monte Perdido, enjoying the landscape of the famous mountains and taking a look at France at times since we will be very close to the border.
July 20 – August 3
In the end of July we’re going to finish the Camino de Santiago that we have started last year, walking from Vigo to Santiago de Compostella. During the trip we will visit Cies Islands, do a Spiritual Variant with a stage by boat and extend our trip to Finisterre (“the End of the World”).
This is a journey to an “exotic” country for most Spanish people – Latvia. We will spend a couple of days in th ecapital, go hiking in the national park of Gauja and get to know the Western part of the country, visiting palaces, capes and coastal towns.
In the middle of September we’re going to do the Camino de Santiago by bicycle, cycling from Gijón to Santiago de Compostela. This will be a combination of three routes – Camino Norte, Camino de la Costa and Camino Primitivo. Each day we will cycle from 30 to 50 kilometers, which is easily done by bike, especially since we have all day and can make various stops to appreciate the scenery to the fullest – capes, beaches, cliffs, lighthouses and much more.
