Senda de los Cazadores

Senda de los Cazadores is one of the most spectacular routes in the entire National Park. We park our vehicle in the Ordesa meadow and follow the signs that point us to the “Hunters’ path”. The first section is a steep ascent in a continuous zig-zag until we reach the top of the path. From here we will arrive at the Calcilarruego viewpoint, where we can contemplate some of the best views of the park. In front of us we can see the Cotatuero circus with its spectacular waterfall. From here the path runs along a gentle and continuous descent through the Pelay strip.
Little by little we will reach the Soaso circus, until we reach the end of the valley where the Cola de Caballo waterfall is located. This will be an ideal point to regain strength and take the obligatory photos. This is also an ideal point to make a stop and regain strength to face the way back. From here we return to the meadow through the bottom of the valley. Throughout the return journey we will follow the course of the Arazas river all the time.

Ibones de Anayet
The Anayet lakes are located at an altitude of 2,200m under two peaks: el Vértice de Anayet and Pico de Anayet, both of volcanic origin. The first of them of an intense red and the second of an almost black brown. These colors combined with the intense green of the meadows that surround the lakes and the changing blue of the water and the sky create a beautiful landscape, one of the best in the Pyrenees.
If we add to this landscape that the lakes are located on a large plain, in a kind of balcony open to the North and dominating the lower valleys with the imposing Midi d’Ossau just ahead, we will obtain a picture that is difficult to surpass. But the beauty of the place does not end here, the waters of the large lake of Anayet are usually calm and create impressive reflections of the surrounding peaks, including the Midi d’Ossau.

Ibones de Bachimaña
Valle de Tena hosts countless tourist attractions related to mountain sports. It is understandable, since it is one of the main centers of the Aragonese Pyrenees in terms of hiking and high mountain routes. In this case, we decided to follow one of the best-known routes in the Baños de Panticosa sector: the Ibones Azules and Bachimaña.
It is a route with a medium level of difficulty, the distance to cover is considerable and it can be somewhat demanding if you are not used to doing routes occasionally. For this reason, and because the environment is unbeatable, I encourage you to do it since it will not disappoint you, in the article you will see why!

Ibon de Respomuso
Itinerary of great beauty along a path belonging to the GR-11 route, easy, well-defined and in good condition that ascends along its entire length, following the course of the Aguas Limpias river in parallel. Throughout the ascent we will find numerous waterfalls, we will pass an extensive beech forest, we will cross the deep gorge created by the Aguas Limpia ravine in the Onso Pass, leaving as we ascend the exuberant vegetation of the valley until we reach the Ibón of Respomuso surrounded by a spectacular high mountain environment with huge and steep peaks that are around 3,000 meters above sea level such as Llena Cantal, Campoplano, Piedrafita, Gran Facha, Tebarray or the Balaitous Massif
Cascada del Cinca

A very beautiful and complete excursion that will introduce us to the head of the immense Pineta valley, discovering the great waterfall of the Cinca river and then the stepped Lalarri waterfall, located in the middle of the forest. Leaving from the car park where the interpretation center of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park is located, we will go up the track that goes up the valley and, after crossing a stream, turn off along the path that begins the path to the Balcón de Pineta. Thus we arrive at the spectacular waterfall of 200 meters of vertical fall through which the waters of the Cinca river rush, which is born in the Marboré glacier. On the way back we will visit the powerful Lalarri waterfall and descend following the various waterfalls of the Lalarri river on its way to the bottom of the valley.
