12th of December
Time for the first snow hike of the season! We are going to the heart of the Gúdar-Javalambre region to do the Caños de Gúdar route, which now has an additional value of trails being covered with snow.

Los Caños de Gúdar are located in a privileged environment between the towns of Alcalá de la Selva and Gúdar. To access we have to take the road that goes from Alcalá de la Selva to Allepuz, 200 meters before reaching the turnoff for the town of Gúdar, there is an entrance to the section of the old road that leads to the beginning of the route.
The walk is quite short but the landscape is beautiful. At all times it runs along the Alfambra river that forms small pools and waterfalls. You have to cross the river several times so, in the rainy season, it is advisable to bring waterproof shoes. It can be done throughout the year with the family and in good weather, you want to soak in the river and it is possible to spend the day and eat at the designated sites.
