22nd of January
Let’s go to Montanejos to do the Bojera trail and (if there are volunteers :D) bathe in the not-so-hot springs. We will meet in Valencia, next to Mestalla and go to Montanejos in a minibus. We will have a coffee on the terrace of a bar and start the hike from the town. The route runs along two sides of Maimona ravine. First we will hike up to one side to get the views of the impressive 300m high wall. After that we will make our way to other side, even though it seems impossible to most people. Here we can get great 360 views, as well as have lunch. Followeing with a rather steep descent – and we’re back in Montanejos. At the end we will have a drink on the terrace and return to Valencia.
You can also check out the report of our previous hike on this trail in our Blog – Barranco Maimona and Fuente de los Baños.
