The ascent to the most recognizable peak in la Vall d’Uixo – Alto de la Pipa. A great combination of some coastal panoramic views on one side and the Eastern edge of Sierra Espadán park on the other.
We’ll meet in Valencia in the parking lot on av. Aragón in front of Mestalla stadium and drive to la Vall d’Uixo. Once there, we’ll have a cup of coffee on a terrace of a bar before starting the hike. The hike goes along the PR-CV 241 trail. There is a bit of an easy scramble on the way up, with some ropes to help us in one spot. Once we get to the top we’ll stop to appreciate the views. The descent is along easier single track trails. As we make our way down, we’ll stop at Font de Garrut for picnic lunch. We will go for a drink on a terrace after the hike.
