29th of January
The ascent to the most recognizable peak in la Vall d’Uixo – Alto de la Pipa. A great combination of some coastal panoramic views on one side and the Eastern edge of Sierra Espadán park on the other.
We’ll meet in Valencia in the parking lot on av. Aragón in front of Mestalla stadium and drive to la Vall d’Uixo. Once there, we’ll have a cup of coffee on a terrace of a bar before starting the hike.
The hike goes along the PR-CV 241 trail. We will start with some gentle single track trails. Soon we will pass by a scenic spot – Font de Garrut spring. Then we’ll continue on sunny trails surrounded by green vegetation, making our way around the peak. Eventually, we will get to the top where we’ll stop to appreciate the views and have lunch. The way back down will be another trail, taking us directly to the starting point. Finally, we will go for a drink on a terrace after the hike and then return to Valencia.
