This time we are heading to a relatively less-known area, yet very close to Valencia – Benifairó de les Valls. Here we’ll do an interesting hike that will lead us to the summit of the Tabalet peak.

The hike to El Tabalet, a prominent hill near Benifairó de les Valls, offers a rewarding journey through the serene landscapes of the Camp de Morvedre region. The trail meanders through Mediterranean scrublands, dotted with aromatic plants like rosemary and thyme, and provides hikers with stunning views of the surrounding valleys and the distant sea. The ascent is moderate, making it accessible to most hikers while still providing a sense of adventure. Upon reaching the summit, the panoramic views of the Sierra de Espadán, the Valencian coastline, and the fertile plains below are breathtaking. Along the way, hikers may spot local wildlife such as rabbits or birds of prey, adding to the natural charm of the route.
