Pre-Christmas Hike

23rd of December

Our pre-Christmas hike shall take us to Sierra Calderona, the town of Olocau. We shall do a nice route through the natural park and finish the hike with a classic Cola-Cao in Olocau!

The Sierra Calderona Natural Park is one of the most emblematic protected natural areas in the Valencian geography. This extensive territory, covering 18,019 hectares, was declared a natural park on January 15, 2002.

The diversity of forest environments and the importance of species present, such as the cork oak, define this natural space as a valuable enclave, with typical Mediterranean plant species.

In Olocau you can explore 1,370 hectares of the Sierra Calderona Natural Park with 32.3 km of trails. It is a privileged place to discover this remarkable landscape. Olocau is the gateway to the Sierra Calderona Natural Park!
