Puig Campana

12th of November

The iconic mountain of Costa Blanca – Puig Campana and one of the hardest routes in the area. We will go all the way to the peak to contemplate the most spectacular 360 views of the surroundings.

The Aitana Range, at its easternmost tip, rises strongly on a final and spectacular step – the colossal pyramid of Puig Campana, the second highest peak in the range. Elevated above the coastal strip, with no other mountains in its surroundings to obstruct its majesty, its rugged summit is magnified in the landscape by the significant height difference from its base, standing as a geographical symbol in the scenery of the Marinas.

The proposed itinerary encircles the mountain and shows us the suggestive beauty and variety of its terrain in all its slopes. It is a route that can be combined with the option of reaching the summit. This majestic mountain has been hailed by many as the most beautiful in the Valencian landscape. Accepting the subjectivity that such a classification implies, there is no doubt that it is among the most remarkable of our carefully chosen mountain landscapes. If Penyagolosa is the quintessential mountain of the northern regions, Puig Campana is the epic mountain in the southern Valencian region. Located close to the sea, its summit gazes upon the mythical Mediterranean as one of the most beautiful coastal watchtowers on the Valencian coast.
