Rebalsadors

14th of January

The viewpoint of Rebalsadors includes three balconies situated on the highest mountain of Serra. These balconies provide unparalleled views of the Sierra Calderona mountains, the gulf of Valencia, and La Albufera in the distance.

We will embark on our hike from the town of Serra and traverse through Barranco de Deula, a captivating path that winds through a rocky ravine. As we emerge from the ravine, we will join the GR-10 path, which ascends steadily. Approximately two thirds into the ascent, we will be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views of the Porta-Coeli valley and the monastery nestled within. After a bit more hiking up, we will reach the viewpoint at the summit of Rebalsadors, an ideal spot to stop and relish a satisfying lunch.

The return journey will lead us along a different trail, initially traversing the plateau for approximately 2 kilometers until reaching the geodesic point. From here, the trail descends, presenting rocky terrain but without significant technical challenges. As we near the end, the path transitions to a gravel road, ensuring a relatively straightforward return to Serra.
