Let’s go to Andilla to do the natural trail of Bardés. The route will show us all the beauty of this remote area, while also taking us to the trenches of the Civil War.

Difficulty: medium (14km with 450m of elevation gain)
Technical level: medium (mostly wide trails)
Meeting point: Mestalla, parking on av. Aragón, 9:30 (return to Valencia ~18:00)
Price: 43 euros (39 euros signing up before Friday, 25.04) / 15 euros coming to Andilla.

Hiking around Andilla offers a peaceful immersion into the rugged beauty of the Serranía region, with pine-covered hills, quiet trails, and expansive views over the surrounding valleys. One of the highlights of the area is the Fuente del Señor, a charming natural spring nestled in a shaded ravine just outside the village, perfect for a rest stop during a circular route. The trails around Andilla wind through Mediterranean forest, past old terraced fields and stone walls, offering a mix of history and nature. Depending on the route, hikers can also enjoy panoramic views from the nearby Cerro Simón or descend into the Barranco de Andilla, making the area ideal for both leisurely walks and more demanding hikes.
