Let’s go to Puebla de Arenoso to hike on some shady trails! We are going to follow Sendero de la Umbría route and get great views of the Arenoso reservoir.
We’ll meet in Valencia in the parking lot on av. Aragón in front of Mestalla stadium and drive to Puebla de Arenoso. Once there, we’ll have a cup of coffee on a terrace of a bar before starting the hike.
The SL-CV 57, Sendero de la Umbría, is a circular trail that runs through the old farmhouses, springs and the most emblematic spots in the municipality of Puebla de Arenoso in the Alto Mijares region. In its varied route we will alternate paths that pass through leafy shady forests and paths or forest tracks between old, abandoned crop fields and with unbeatable views of the adjoining mountains and the Mijares river valley.
Difficulty: medium (10km with 400m elevation gain)
Technical level: medium (single track trails)
Meeting point: Mestalla, parking lot on av. Aragón, 9:30 (return to Valencia ~18:00)
Price: 32 euros (28 euros signing up before Friday, 04.11) / 12 euros coming to Puebla de Arenoso.
The price includes professional guide, transportation, accident and public liability insurances.
