23rd of April
Let’s go to Titaguas to explore the trail that links various mountain springs of the area and hike through several ravines which will show us the diverse landscapes of Alto Turia.
Titaguas is located in the interior of the Valencian Community, just one hour from the city of Valencia, in the center of Alto Turia, forming part of the mountainous region of the Serranía.
Landscapes and natural sites have an inestimable value, both from the landscape and ecological point of view. Such is the case that its value goes beyond the merely local, since, together with the forest mass of the region, it is one of the most important natural enclaves in the Valencian territory. The Turia river, determines the presence of the riverside forest, a natural habitat of enormous wealth, drawing the Conquetes canyon.
The path begins at the Fuente Vieja located in the urban area of Titaguas and continues along different paths and tracks that take us to the other sources: Fuete de la Zarza, Fuente del Barajuelo, Fuente del Hontanarejo, Fuente del Hontanar del Herrero and Hoya del Hacha Fountain. The tour of the sources shows us a great variety of landscapes, from forest tracks and forests to recreational areas and cultivated areas.
