We have spent a weekend hiking along a couple of fluvial trails and exploring the extraordinary Geological Park of Aliaga, Teruel. The trip also included swimming in Arquello reservoir and in a cool mountain river.
There is an area at the edge of Valencia province that has been invaded by dinosaurs. This past weekend we went there to do some field investigation. Here's how it went...
The report of our 4 day trip to the region of Els Ports (inland Castellón) where we explored some of the best hiking routes in the area. We have also visited several small, charming villages such as Castellfort and, of course, the capital of the comarca - Morella.

On the odd day of February (the 29th) we went to Tarragona province to hike up to la Foradada del Montsiá and contemplate the views of the Ebro delta through the gap - a curious natural formation; and explore the beaches, wetlands and the Ebro river on the following day.
Some would probably say it's madness to go exploring the gorges of Alicante province after such heavy rains we had during the week, but the spirit of the group was strong this weekend, so here is the report on how our adventure went.
