5th of March
The almond bloom season is at its peak and we are going to hike in one of the best places to witness that – Alcublas. The route will take us through the almond orchards and back along the Barranco de Lucía.
Regardless of the weather conditions or different varieties, the flowering of the almond trees occurs around the months of February and March. Thus, in most of the almond-producing regions of Spain, you can see almond trees in bloom at the beginning of February every year. Numerous details of visual impact will capture our attention. A variety of colours: white, green and pink… almond blossom next to the path crisscrossed by cyclists and passers-by. Good temperatures and blue sky, this is what awaits un on this hike.
