Let’s get on bikes this time and do an easy route through Sierra Calderona mountains. The route is suitable for mountain bikes and gravel bikes.
Mountain biking in the Sierra Calderona offers an exhilarating experience for cyclists of all skill levels, set against the stunning backdrop of one of Valencia’s most iconic natural parks. Located just a short distance from the city of Valencia, this mountain range is characterized by rugged trails, dense Mediterranean forests, and striking red sandstone cliffs. The park boasts a variety of routes, from gentle paths perfect for beginners to technical singletracks that challenge even the most experienced riders. Trails like the ascent to Garbí or the Serra Springs traverse reward bikers with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the glittering Mediterranean Sea and the rolling plains of Valencia.
This route is designed to be technically easy, making it perfect for riders of all skill levels and suitable for both mountain bikes and gravel bikes. We’ll stick to wide, well-maintained paths throughout the journey, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride without challenging obstacles or steep technical sections. Along the way, we’ll make several stops at stunning viewpoints, where you can take in the breathtaking scenery and capture memorable photos. This leisurely pace and accessible terrain make it an ideal route for those looking to enjoy a relaxed yet rewarding cycling experience in nature.
