Let’s go for another coastal hike! This time we are going to visit Cala Granadella and walk along the cliffs surrounding this picturesque cove.

The Granadella route runs entirely through the Granadella forest park, which is one of the few virgin construction areas left by the sea. Located in Xàbia term belonging to the Marina Alta region. This park had a fire in 2001 but fortunately little by little it is recovering. The beauty of this route lies in the mixture of sea and mountains, with magnificent views of the cliffs over the sea in its first part and of the Montgó, the valley and the bay of Xàbia in its second part.

During this hike we will also visit the castle of Granadella. The viewpoint of the castle of Granadella (Castillo de la Granadella in Spanish), also called the Morro del Pi viewpoint, is part of the Route of the Viewpoints of Jávea. It is the southernmost point of this route. It is very quiet, since the area that really receives the greatest number of people is Cala de la Granadella. It is very likely that during your visit, if you do it outside the summer months, you will not come across anyone and you will be able to enjoy the viewpoint just for yourself. This is a first characteristic image that you can see from the viewpoint of the Castell de la Granadella.
