The most impressive costal route in Comunidad Valenciana – the hike along the cliffs of Serra Gelada. The route is linear, starting from Benidorm and making our way to the other side of the sierra – L’Alfàs del Pi.
We’ll meet in Valencia in the parking lot on av. Aragón in front of Mestalla stadium and drive to Benidorm. Once there, we’ll have a cup of coffee on a terrace of a bar before starting the hike.
The route starts with a short ascent to La Creu de Benidorm, which will give us great views of the city and the mountains behind it. Here we will be able to really appreciate the grandiosity of Puig Campana. From here on, the route will consist of continuous ups and downs. As we hike, we will get amazed time and time again by the height of these cliffs. Eventually, we will reach the other side – Alt del Governador, where we will stop for lunch. After that, it will be time to descent to L’Alfàs del Pi.
Once in the town, the group will relax and have a drink in a bar, while I’ll get a bus to Benidorm to get the van (the route is linear). Finally, we’ll return back to Valencia.
Difficulty: medium/high (12km with 600m elevation gain)
Technical level: medium/high (undulating single track trails)
Meeting point: Mestalla, entrance on av. Aragón, 9:00 (return to Valencia ~18:30)
Price: 31 euros (27 euros signing up by Wednesday, 16.02) / 11 euros coming to Benidorm.

Bring at least 1l of water, lunch, warm clothes and hiking shoes.
